Theatre al Dente is thrilled to announce our upcoming Summer Musical Theatre Camps, featuring the beloved play The Secret Garden and three classic musicals!

 

All camps are open to kids ages 6 and up, with all levels of experience welcome. Our camps will now be held at the Theatre al Dente Playhouse, located at 907 Esquimalt Rd and run Mon-Fri 9am to 4pm.

Our first camp will be a one week drama intensive held from July 8th-12th. This camp will focus exclusively on acting and students will culminate with a one act production of The Secret Garden by Erin Detrick. This performance will take place on Friday July 12th at 6pm.

​

This year we will be offering three two week musical theatre camps! Students will learn to audition, sing, dance, and act all while putting together these wonderful family friendly musicals

.

Beauty and the Beast Jr will run July 15th-26th with a performance on the 26th at 6pm.

​

Willy Wonka Jr will run July 29th-August 9th with a performance on the 9th at 6pm

​

Newsies Jr will run August 12th-23rd with a performance on the 23rd at 6pm.

​

 Our experienced instructors and Jr leaders will support, guide and challenge our students in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Our camps have become a staple of the Greater Victoria area, and are a chance for kids not only to learn stage craft but also boost self-esteem and make life long friendships.
