
Auditions
Little Women is based on the book by Louisa May Alcott, adapted for the stage by Sasha Moriarty-Schieven.
Auditions will be held September 2nd and 3rd with potential callbacks on September 4th at the Four Seasons Musical Theatre Playhouse: 1500 A Admirals rd. Auditions will be held in one hour blocks, 6-7pm and 7-8pm on September 2nd and 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, and 4-5 on September 3rd. Auditioners are asked to bring a resume and headshot, and to prepare a monologue that they feel represents their skills. They must also be prepared to read sides, which are available on request.
Rehearsals will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons at the Four Seasons Playhouse. Performances will be December 9th and 10th at the Intrepid theatre. There will be a total of three shows, with two performances on the 10th.
Theatre al Dente is an inclusive theatre company that casts completely blind (meaning race, gender, and age are not considered in any casting choices). Some actors will play mutiple characters

Josephine: The narrator and an older Jo March
Meg: A dreamer forced into pragmatism
Jo: A free spirit who longs to be a writer
Beth: A gentle, kind girl who loves to play piano
Amy: The youngest sister, preoccupied by her looks
Marmee: The mother of the March sisters, a very giving person
Theodore Lawrence (Laurie): The March sisters neighbor and best friend
Hannah: The March's maid and friend
Aunt March: The wealthy great aunt of the March sisters
John Brooke: Laurie's Tutor
Mr. March: The father of the March sisters.
Professor Behr: Josephine's love interest
Sallie Moffat: Megs good friend.
